Which...Actually, Davoe meant FEC filing, not SEC.

Which is the point, HTTP. The FEC should get involved because this Angie Langley, who is apparently the former head of the Florida republican party, is hardly just a citizen. She has formed an organization, which she represented to FEC as created to support or oppose more than one candidate, yet she is apparently only opposing Grayson. She is telling people she lives in his district, telling people she feels he is not representing her. And she is raising money while making these misrepresentations.

Now, I don't know how good a Congressperson Grayson is, maybe he doesn't represent his constituents. And I don't know how serious (or accurate) Grayson's allegations are. And genuine personal dissent should not be squelched. But this is Swiftboating trying to fly under the radar of rules and ethics by pretending to be genuine personal dissent.

So where do you stand, HTTP, on being honest and accurate?EdHeathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09109361235271107574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8213262.post-62332336397939632082009-12-27T17:57:02.117-05:002009-12-27T17:57:02.117-05:00Of course HTTT missed the point. Again.

Grayson's complaint had nothing to do with the 1st Amendment. But with Langley's dishonest SEC filing.

Did HTTT even read the blog post?

I don't think so.Dayvoehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06971560627535402858noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8213262.post-44265001600190558212009-12-27T16:21:08.250-05:002009-12-27T16:21:08.250-05:00Nice of David to try to defend Grayson in Media Ma...Nice of David to try to defend Grayson in Media Matters style.
And minimize that Grayson wants to imprison someone for five years for executing their First Amendment rights.
Alan Grayson, asshat — unfit to serve in Congress
Grayson called for the Attorney General to investigate and prosecute Ms. Langley.
