Their first commercial for Sharron Angle Iron is a rehash of shit they've done for the past 15 years. Cutting edge? Not so much.

But it does point up the reality that pols and their consultant enables continue to rehash the same crap over and over again....

This woman is seriously stupid. Then again, George Bush became President of these United States....Piltdown Manhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06624809999110700764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8213262.post-1155661525718097752010-07-09T20:23:08.297-04:002010-07-09T20:23:08.297-04:00The issue of choice is a very complicated one. It has strange extremes, like whether the mother's life might be in danger, versus a woman who might use abortion as a form of contraception (use the VISA to pay?). There is also the emotional pain in having an abortion, versus giving a baby up for adoption, versus the pain of a teenager having to derail possible life choices to raise a child.

Even if Sharron Angle wants to get Republican politicians and party members to assist every pregnant teenager or even older single pregnant woman in finding adoptive parents for their children (as if that is likely to happen), there remains the question of whether a woman should have any control over the disposition over her baby, or who should live in the case of the mother's life being threatened by the pregnancy. Do we stop executing convicted murderers? Do we take guns away from cops, to keep them from killing anyone? I am always annoyed by partial absolute moral judgments.

As far as the tan tax goes, I can see why John Boehner would be upset. I suppose there is a point that African Americans would not be affected no matter what, but on the other hand, no Caucasian (or Asian American) would be harmed if they stopped tanning. So it is a little hard to be sympathetic with the complaints of whomever is complaining.EdHeathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09109361235271107574noreply@blogger.com
