Every parcel of government owned land once belonged to someone else; I've been on the other side of an eminent domain case. I'm sure the land that now houses the parkway east once belonged to a few farmers too.

If it truly was Bundy's land, and he took steps to prove so, was he equitably compensated? If he was, I feel about as much sympathy for him as I do for people who can afford to own their own private jet. If he wasn't, then maybe he's got due cause.

One thing for sure, sans needing to pay property taxes since at least the late 90's, he's been making part of his living at taxpayers expense.

Zeus0209https://www.blogger.com/profile/06793526088038747718noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8213262.post-22226721740263233762014-04-16T16:39:24.288-04:002014-04-16T16:39:24.288-04:00It's Government bullying because Bundy's f...It's Government bullying because Bundy's family has owned that land longer than there has been a Bureau of Land Management.

Didn't we learn anything from the Native Americans?

- The Blogging Boss

Blogs:
aletterofappreciation.blogspot.com
aletterofsympathy.blogspot.com
willeventuallybecomecurrent.blogspot.comAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10877854723112983021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8213262.post-30330582217516709672014-04-16T10:58:32.806-04:002014-04-16T10:58:32.806-04:00BS mountain et al is trying to paint a picture of ...BS mountain et al is trying to paint a picture of Bundy as a modern day Rosa Parks. So, I suppose the real question becomes do we trust our lawmakers to demarcate the line separating virtue from anarchy. Enter the tea.

It is a scary proposition with the possibility of the David Porters' of the world. Zeus0209https://www.blogger.com/profile/06793526088038747718noreply@blogger.com
