Radical Islam is a problem, but I think that Sharia law is not something that Muslims are looking to impose on anyone (just like the Rabinical courts of New York City are not taking over our justice system) Personally I am not a fan of Sharia, but I am not worried that I will have to deal with it. I am more worried that Christians will decide it is their holy duty to exterminate Muslims (as they have in the past).EdHeathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09109361235271107574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8213262.post-32073110972026846172011-10-31T19:24:31.891-04:002011-10-31T19:24:31.891-04:00If you can't see the difference between the go...If you can't see the difference between the good Christianity does in the world and the destructive force of radical Islam and Sharia, I can only pray for you and our Country. I stand by what I wrote.

I think among "wiener schumer grayson pelosi reid frank dodd" some have made mistakes, but in general I would stand (mostly) by their actions and intentions. Reid has worked with wildly distorted Senate rules to try to preserve the union, even as Republicans set records for filibusters. Republicans have worked tirelessly to get millionaires more and more money, making incredibly hypocritical statements about job creators and tax cuts that benefit the poor and middle class being not useful for the economy. Meanwhile Grayson made an incredibly powerful statement on Bill Maher's show about the plight of the poor in America that we would never hear the current Republican candidates say.

If you want to trivialize the Republican candidates and inflate the evilness of Democrats, be my guest. No reason that we should let reality enter the discussion. Your (yours and others) refusal to address issues realistically (like an academic might) condemns the poor to continuing suffering. Congratulations.EdHeathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09109361235271107574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8213262.post-61172372851608400362011-10-29T22:11:29.143-04:002011-10-29T22:11:29.143-04:00What has Prager written that stokes your ire..? So I actually would not be happy if Islam became the State religion or Shariah took over our legal system. But since there is not even the slightest possibility that will happen ...

Meanwhile, it does seem like there are people here in the US who want to spread mandatory Christianity all around the world. That kinds of bothers me. Our values are supposed to be about tolerance, but the hypocrites on the right who claim to love the Constitution and Declaration of Independence but in fact want to tell everyone what to do and how to behave (mainly to the majority of us, be poor).EdHeathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09109361235271107574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8213262.post-15456330192225172532011-10-29T20:24:47.664-04:002011-10-29T20:24:47.664-04:00Observe how Moslem majoritiy countries...Pakistan....Observe how Moslem majoritiy countries...Pakistan..the Sauds...treat Christians...and contrast that relationship when the reverse holds...
