But "access to health insurance" is not access to healthcare, if you can't afford the deductible. That is the problem with the Affordable Care Act that Senator Toomey and fellow Republicans are trying to fix with no help from Democrats.<br /><br />The CBO has no idea how many people will be uninsured in 2026. Just because you are no longer forced to buy insurance doesn't mean you aren't going to buy it anyway. Insurance companies will offer attractive (i.e. affordable) plans to attract individuals unable to take advantage of the ACA because they "can't afford to pay the deductible."
