Santorum Watch

(It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it)

1. The General writes to Lil Ricky about the junior senator's favorite blogs.
(h/t to A Spork in the Drawer)

2. A forensic document examiner has found that a petition signed by John Michael Glick, a Santorum staffer, has four "questionable" signatures.

3. It would appear that "not only did Republicans fund the Green candidate's signature drive and help staff that drive, but now they've taken to writing outraged letters to newspapers on his behalf."

4. MacYapper rips apart Lil Ricky's latest ad -- you know the one where Lil Ricky attempts to act funny instead of just trying desperately to appear sane.

  1. Although in a response to a point about how 40 percent (I think) of polled voters don't know enough about Casey, MacIntire said this:

"Bob, get your boring butt out there and make some news. Can't afford to compete with Rick on TV? Seek free TV. It's called the local news.
You're gonna blow it, dude. This'll be worse than the '69 Cubs if your campaign doesn't wake its tired, moribund, static, lifeless ass up."

When I heard that my wife watched the Casey ads online (D'oh) I went and did that, and saw the Santorum polka ad. I gotta tell you, Casey's ads are dull. By comparison, Santorum's ad is like CItizen Kane and a Brief History of Time. Man, I hope Casey gets some more money and an immagination.

  2. I understand that he's saving his ad $$$ for the Sept./Oct. stretch when the majority of voters start paying attention.
