What is remarkable

There's nothing really remarkable in Hugo Chavez, the president of Venezuela, calling Bush "the devil."

There's nothing really remarkable in his doing so while addressing the United Nations.

What's remarkable is how many other nations there enjoy his words -- how they laugh with him and cheer him on.

This is where we are in the world.

This is where Bush has brought us.

  1. Tin-horn dictators laughing at the president of the US?

Maybe we should get out of the UN.

  2. Pretty sad when the rest of the world laughs at our joke of a President.
I'd say it's time to get rid of the do nothing House and Senate and get some real leadership back in Washington before there is no world left to laugh at anything.

  4. Anonymous stop drinking Fox News kool-aid!
The world is more complex than pushing hate and fear while you steal from the middle class to give to the uber-wealthy.
Chavez is right about somethings and wrong about others.
Bill Clinton put it best this morning in an interview with Meredith Viera (I'm paraphrasing here) - Chavez was wrong to name call. Clinton said that he disagrees with Bush Jr on most things but what Chavez said wasn't dignified for a statesman.

The Republicans have not made us safer or made the world a better place. Time to try democracy again.

Peace to you Anonymous, seriously....I hope you can learn to open your heart and mind enough to embrace the whole world.
