However your side (Gun Control) states that if armed assailant breaks into your house, you should not fight back with a firearm and instead call the same police that got killed at the courthouse.
Ahh, that makes sense. The good citizens of Idaho, although armed to the teeth, eschewed the "gun 'em down there before they can gun us down here" option simply because they are gun control advocates. Otherwise the killer would have been riddled with lead.
