Well, the Post-Gazette has endorsed a Republican for mayor for Pittsburgh and . . .
. . . the sun still rose,

the three rivers have not turned to blood,

and there is no rioting in the streets . . . yet . . .

    The Post-Gazette endorsed Roddey twice and Ridge twice, and has also endorsed numerous Republican candidates at the local level (e.g., County Council).
