  1. John K: That is right. Karl Rove committed the most grevious of sins. He defeated Democrats in three elections and for that the left will hunt him to the ends of the Earth. Put Dodd and Conrad in jail first.

  2. John K,

I find your support for Rove in this situation absurd. The fact of the matter is that multiple people have implicated Rove in a conspiracy involving a witch hunt of a sitting governor, who Rove seems to have personal issues with.

As such, Rove was called to testify before congress. Instead of testifying or even showing up, Rove was a no show.

I do not care who the man is, what president he supported, or what he has done in support of either party. The simple fact is we have a systems of checks and balances, a system of laws, and no one is above the law. Not even Karl Rove.

  3. John K: The fact of the matter is that what Rove and O'Reilly, for instance, have to say is not factually wrong. It is just the fact that they said it that causes the left to want to put them in jail. Dodd, Conrad and Rangel ouught to be investigated for their actions not their speech. You left wingers indict for speech.

  4. John K: We do not have a system of checks and balances when it comes to the left. We have a system of indict anyone on the right who dares to challenge the left.

  5. John K,

You are so full of it. If a presidential aid is implicated in utilizing the resources of the federal government to target a citizen of our land, he or she should answer the allegations.

As for your crock about indict anyone, please. The Republican congress had investigation after investigation after investigation.

Sorry, but we have laws in this land and Rove will answer for what he has been implicated within.

  6. John K,

You said "The fact of the matter is that what Rove and O'Reilly, for instance, have to say is not factually wrong. " Who is talking about Bill O?

Seriously, please stay on topic. People are also not targeted Rove for what he said. He has been implicated by multiple individuals as having involvement in both alleged politically motivated federal prosecutions and has been implicated in the US Attorney firing scandals.

He was asked to come before congress to answer for these allegations that were raised against him. Instead, Rove argued I work for the president and therefore I won't talk to you. Such an argument is bull.

Now that the guy has violated the law by refusing a congressional subpoena, he is guilty of a criminal act.

Simply put, he should be locked up for the contempt charge as would any other citizen of our united states. It does not matter is he is a right wing zealot, a left wing zealot, or what ever political ideals he has. He is a criminal for his actions. Enough said.
