While Veterans Day started out as Armistice Day, it has been expanded to commemorate the courage and sacrifice of all veterans.
On this day when we honor veterans for their service to our country, I can think of nothing more fitting than to link to this Daily Kos diary which lists many worthy groups which assist veterans. Please check it out.
