It would be oh so easy for Rep. Jason Altmire (D-PA) to heed the pathetic cry of the 45,000 Americans who die each year because they have no health insurance. But, Altmire is made of sterner stuff than that. He has the courage of his convictions to ignore the whiny sick and dying to ensure that no campaign contributor .conservative voter constituent in his district is made to feel the least bit of discomfort over some sort of giveaway to those people.
