Short Note About The Coverage Of Ferguson
I realize
the story's constantly shifting, but I wanted to bring
this to your attention:
Laura Ingraham's opinion on the merits of a protest movement seem to vary considerably from month to month. Ingraham recently characterized protestors in Ferguson, Missouri as a "lynch mob" and downplayed the story as a "local, criminal" story, but in April the radio host helped to elevate the standoff between scofflaw rancher Cliven Bundy and federal law enforcement agents while suggesting his supporters' violent threats against the government constituted a mere "act of civil disobedience."
How surprising is that?
So Cliven Bundy not paying taxes is equal to someone being killed by police?
ReplyDeleteI remember when Cliven Bundy's supporters rioting and looting.
Support the Police officer's bill of rights.
1) Sealing of all law enforcement records from the public.
2) Automatic search warrant/SWAT raid for anyone in possession of video and/or audio of wiretapping Police Officers in public.
3) Citizens must provide ID and must allow themselves to being searched by Law Enforcement when requested.
4) Repeal Anti Police excessive force, false arrest and civil rights violations laws that jeopardize Officer safely.
5) Police officer accused of misconduct should notified of all incriminating evidence or witness statements, be able to review it and remain silent for a 72 hours cooling off period afterwards.
6) Officer statements override video evidence.
7) Police should be excempt any making false statements laws
8) Police should only be tried by a special court conprosed only of Law Enforcement officers.
Funny, I remember when the "patriots" in Nevada were aiming their high powered weapons at Federal Officers.
ReplyDeleteAnd your non sequiturs are becoming more non sequitur-ier than normal, better check your meds.
Ummm...There actually IS something called the Police Officer's Bill OF Rights. Its right here, and isn't terribly controversial, as most of its provisions are already covered under Garrity, Loudermill, and union rules. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_Enforcement_Officers'_Bill_of_Rights
ReplyDeleteEverything the police do isn't terribly controversial,
