Question

Question: Are the other GOP presidential candidates more happy or sad today? Happy because Trump's comments slamming McCain for being "captured" in Vietnam make them all look less extreme? Or, sad because his racist comments about Mexicans are going to lose the few Latino voters the Republicans had?

  1. Trump just repeated Obama/DNC talking points from 2008 campaign about Mccain.

  2. Unless you can back that up with some actual facts, HTTT, we're free to assume you just made it up.

  4. Interesting. You do realize that the article you linked to is NOT about "Obama/DNC talking points" right?

For example here's the second paragraph from the politico article:

On Sunday, McCain's campaign issued a pair of outraged statements after retired general and Barack Obama supporter Wesley Clark said he didn't think that McCain’s service as a fighter pilot and prisoner of war was relevant to running the country. Obama has consistently praised McCain's service, and called him "a genuine American hero."

And about Gen Clark's interview, CNN had this [http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/06/29/clark.mccain/] to say:

In the interview, Clark said McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee, was "untested and untried."

When Schieffer asked to explain the comment, Clark said he was referring to McCain's experience, or lack thereof, in setting national security policies and understanding the risk involved in such matters.

"I certainly honor his service as a prisoner of war. He was a hero to me and to hundreds of thousands and millions of others in the armed forces, as a prisoner of war. And he has traveled all over the world. But he hasn't held executive responsibility," said Clark, a former NATO commander who campaigned for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2004.

Um, and you were saying about OBAMA/DNC talking points...?

  6. Now you're just changing the subject, aren't you?

Because you still haven't given us any evidence that that was a DNC TALKING POINT, have you?
