Democracy Has Prevailed.

May 5, 2006

Thanks, guys!

The latest poll numbers show Democrat Bob Casey has a six point lead over Republican Rick Santorum in a hypothetical match up for US Senate.

Cool, you say -- the Democrat is ahead.

Problem is Casey was ahead by 20 points* in November 2005, 16 points* in February 2006, 10 points* in mid March, 9 points* in late March, and 8 points** in mid April.

Did we mention that according to Survey USA Lil Ricky is officially the least popular member of the U.S. Senate?

And yet, Casey looks to be in a free fall against the least popular member of the U.S. Senate.

It's looking a lot like how Bob Casey did against Ed Rendell when he had a near 20 point lead against Rendell early on and then lost by about 10.

I think that credit should go where credit is due. So I ask you to call the folks who handpicked Casey to be the Chosen One for PA and give them a GREAT BIG PA-STYLE THANK YOU:
