On My Name

I won't spend more than 5 sentences on this.

The name is pronounced "Day-voh" not "Davey-voh."

Twice in the past week I was approached by two different people (and you know who you are!) who each asked me, "Hey, are you Davey-voh?"

It's "Dayvoe." It's pronounced just like it's spelled - y'know, like "Wojciehowicz."

Go buy yourself a cookie if you got that last TVLand reference.

  4. For clarification. Since I said "BUY YOURSELF A COOKIE..." I am hoping no one is expecting ME to furnish the aforementioned cookies.

But here's a recommendation: Go to Whole Foods in the East End and pick yourself up a Black and White cookie, or "Thumbprint" cookie from the former Kaufmann's dahn-tahn (what's the place called these days??).

You won't be sorry with either cookie.
