The Other Shoe Drops: Justice Joan Orie Melvin to be charged

Joan & Jane

Oh those wacky Orie Sisters! Where's the Angel Lady when you need her?

Via KDKA:
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — State Supreme Court Justice Joan Orie Melvin could be indicted today on corruption charges related to the alleged use of her court staff for campaign work.
Sources tell KDKA Investigator Marty Griffin that Justice Melvin will face nine charges, four of them felonies, all brought by a grand jury that’s been investigating the case.
Her sister, State Sen. Jane Orie, was convicted of 14 corruption charges back in March.
[snip]
Another sister, Janine, is also awaiting trial on charges.

Oh, the P-G has a link to the Grand Jury presentment on their site. It sounds like working for the Orie sisters was a real nightmare for staffers.

Well, well, well.. the **** Zappala gets another notch on his belt.. all because his crooked brother was caught red-handed in the Luzerne County 'screw minority kids for $$' scandal. Yes, his brother and Father were up to their eyeballs in that one and the Ories were all over it.

Oh... one last thing... the Foreperson of the GJ signed his/her signature with an "X". Sweet.. probably can't read or write.. you know.. one of Holder's people.

Noooo...signing "X" on grand jury presentments is standard, because they're supposed to be anonymous. Perhaps the Ories should have been more interested in not breaking the law if you don't want to be charged? If you have political enimies, don't give them readily available ammunition.

Froth,

Please stop introducing reality and knowledge into the conversation.

Part 2 of 2

update the completely truthful complaint that is displayed at the above listed initial complaints.com url has been blocked (this problem just arose in mid-May 2012). Complaints.com was notified in hopes that the issue would be remedied promptly (especially before the involved co-conspirators made any additional damaging/wrongful maneuvers or inappropriately benefited from the dissemination of any additional misinformation outside of scrutiny). For the most part, as of now (05/22/2012), to the best of my knowledge the report at the initial url is up-to-date and the involved co-conspirators haven't executed any additional illicit maneuvers that haven't already at least been touched upon in that initial complaints.com webpage complaint. On 05/19/2012 complaints.com indicated that it would no longer be possible to update the information at the well-publicized initial webpage/url and essentially that the complaint would have to be duplicated and that all future updates would have to me made at a new complaints.com webpage/url.]
