From Wendy's bullet ridden rant the other day:
Covid: The virus is over, stop it with the stupid masks and “new variant” scare tactics. Get your 6-foot circles off the ground, take away the plexiglass, and move along. We were born free, we are free, and we will always choose to live free.Vaccine dangers: Stop calling those of us who believe in My Body, My Choice vaccine deniers, or anti-vaxxers. No. We are free thinkers, and we’re paying attention to what the media and big tech desperately try to cover up every day. Why would we vaccinate our children when their chance of Covid survival is 99.98%? Americans are free to make their own decisions and then manage the consequences. Take your mandates and shove them.
There. She said it. The virus is over.
Didn't she say this more than a year ago? Yes, she did:
Covid is officially over. Signs on the floor are gone. Santized carts are no more. Limits on chicken, scratched.
Like the Israeli mathmetician said and our governor never heard... the cycle is 70 days. [Misspellings in original.]
Since then, there have been a few hundred thousand new dead in the US alone and countless more sick and suffering. Wendy's wrong.
If I am reading the chart correctly, the New York Times is reporting that there were about 23,000 new cases in the US with a rolling average of about 13,000.
That same chart shows (if you pull down the "New Cases" menu to "Deaths") about 700 deaths with a rolling average of about 200.
And while we can thank the vaccine that Wendy Bell is trying to convince her crowd not to take for the great reduction since the peak in the winter, the crisis is obviously far from over.
The more our Angel of Death spreads this line, the more this will happen:
Nearly all COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. now are in people who weren’t vaccinated, a staggering demonstration of how effective the shots have been and an indication that deaths per day — now down to under 300 — could be practically zero if everyone eligible got the vaccine.

Earlier this month, Andy Slavitt, a former adviser to the Biden administration on COVID-19, suggested that 98% to 99% of the Americans dying of the coronavirus are unvaccinated.
And CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said on Tuesday that the vaccine is so effective that “nearly every death, especially among adults, due to COVID-19, is, at this point, entirely preventable.” She called such deaths “particularly tragic.”
Of course Wendy Bell takes Dr Walensky to task:
Fauci/Walensky: Your credibility is gone. We don’t “trust the science.” We don’t believe your numbers regarding infections, deaths, or the safety of the jab. You’ve lied repeatedly and those lies have cost far too many Americans their lives and livelihoods.
No, Wendy. The numbers are right and you're wrong. The science is right and you're wrong. And now nearly every death post-vaccine is entirely preventable - were it not for you and your anti-vaxxer fellow travelers pushing vaccine hesitancy. They will die because they believed you.
Something you should be pondering from now on.
