They're Doing Some Good Work Over At The WENDY BELL WATCH

Here. Read this. It's good for you:

You can read the entire thing here.

Jon In PGH took a deep dive into Oscar "el Blue" Ramirez, one of Wendy Bell's correspondents.

Jon found this at The Daily Beast:

As Ramirez’s star rises by virtue of his fearmongering about the border, Real America’s Voice viewers are likely unaware he has a federal drug trafficking conviction. According to court records reviewed by The Daily Beast, he was sentenced to four years in prison for importing methamphetamine in 2008. A service dog flagged his vehicle at the port of entry resulting in “the discovery of 23 packages of a white crystalline substance concealed inside the rocker panels,” including a package weighing nearly 25 kilograms that tested positive for meth. He said it was his “third smuggling venture,” per the records. He spent four years in prison before he was deported.

And:

In April 2020, Ramirez’s dream came true: Less than two years after partnering with Bergquam at Real America’s Voice, he was apparently able to re-enter the U.S. in spite of his conviction, which made him inadmissible.[Emphasis added.]

So do you think  that when Wendy Bell rants about drug traffickers making their way across the southern border she's actually thinking of one of her own correspondents?

The SPLC has more on nuestro nuevo amigo Óscar.

And the author of the Daily Beast, Jean Guerrero had this to say to Democracy Now:

Yes, I mean, I looked at the cases of two of these right-wing influencers and conspiracy theorists, but Oscar Ramirez’s is definitely the most shocking case. He is someone, as you said, Amy, with a federal drug-trafficking conviction in his past, which, according to the Immigration and Nationality Act, U.S. federal law on immigration, someone with that kind of conviction would be inadmissible to the United States after deportation, unless he were able to obtain a special visa waiver from the attorney general himself or the State Department. And so, it would be impossible for him to reenter the United States without basically very strong political connections or working as an informant. I asked Mr. Ramirez what the details of his visa were. He refused to give them. He accused me and The Daily Beast of promoting child trafficking by trying to expose some of the things that he’s involved in.

"Child trafficking" in this context is a QAnon dog-whistle.

Is this where Wendy Bell is headed or where Wendy Bell already is?

Good work, Jon.
