Paul is okay on Iraq? Isolationism and non-intervention are failed policies and they ALWAYS will be. That guy is the perfect example of how the far right and the far left can get along just fine. If you read some of the rp supporters' blogs, they're almost identical to the far left propaganda as far as kook-fringe antiwar/antibush rage goes. Remember, Paul has come out against Abraham Lincoln for fighting the Civil War, how stupid is that?
Dayvoe, I'm going to do the honor and repeat something you have said yourself.
Isolationism and non-intervention are failed policies Agreed. However, getting out of Iraq is not isolationism, and staying there is a manifestly failed policy.
Yep, Ron Paul sucks...and so do his supporters. Aren't you the guy who was accusing ME of being hateful? Saying that people suck and claiming that Catholics are religious extremists seems a bit harsh to me.
I challenge you to find anything I have said on this blog that is as hateful as anything you publish here routinely.
John K. says: Some Republicans suck. Huckabee, McCain, Paul. None of which are conservatives. Guilani is also not a conservative but he really wants to kick al queda butt which is great. But a Democrats in the White House as well as congress in 2009 is not bad at all. Look what happened in 1976 as well as 1992. We still won.
Are you "nuts" if you want victory and staility in Iraq? Aren't you even the least bit concerned that a takeover by islamic extremists in Iraq could spill across the rest of the Middle East?
All hell is breaking loose in the Gaza strip right now, and the takeover by Hamas is a reminder about what could happen to Iraq if you guys abandon it.
That Ron Paul guy is one hell of a nutjob, may god help us if he ever comes to power, for he will surely abandon not only Iraq and Afghanistan, but Israel as well.
a reminder about what could happen to Iraq if you guys abandon it So you think the Shiites will try to starve Sunni women and children the way the Israelis tried to starve the Palestinians?
If so, do you think the Sunnis would break into Jordan or Saudi Arabia?
Marty Griffin had an excellent interview this past week with a US General in Baghdad.Griffin agrees with the General that the surge is working and all the "pull out" talk is empty rhetoric that even the Dem Presidential candidates acknowledge. There will be a troop presence for another decade at least.

ReplyDeleteand I merely pointed out that I agreed with him.
ReplyDeleteI wrote the Ron Paul Sucks posts.
ReplyDeleteI stand corrected...
ReplyDeletemy apologies then. I was however, merely stating that I agree with you in my earlier comment.
