It opens:
Mitt Romney’s decision to take on Donald Trump, calling him a “phony” and asking fellow Republicans to boycott the GOP presidential front-runner in the election booths this spring, was met with mixed reaction from the Republican crowd gathered at the Conservative Political Action Conference.See? a "reaction" piece.
Anyway, tucked in the bottom of the piece are these four paragraphs:
The Club for Growth has launched a $1.5 million advertisement buy in Florida against the real-estate mogul and claim their anti-Trump ads that ran in Texas and Iowa helped Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas win those states. Why is this warning important? You gotta remember that Pat Toomey was, between his time in the House and the Senate, president of the Club For Growth.
“We believe that if people hear that through the ads — that Donald Trump bullies around the little guy, that he’s not a conservative on fiscal policy, it makes a difference,” said Doug Sachtleben, a spokesman for Club for Growth, at the CPAC conference on Thursday.
Mr. Sachtleben said his political advocacy group likes both Mr. Cruz and Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida – who are running second and third to Mr. Trump. If Mr. Trump wins the Republican nomination, Mr. Sachtleben warns of Republican Senate losses and the Supreme Court.
“The most immediate concern is the Senate and the down ballot candidates,” Mr. Sachtleben said. “We endorsed a lot of candidates including Pat Toomey in Pennsylvania and Ron Johnson in Wisconsin, and we think the challenge will be on those guys, with the top of the ticket being Donald Trump. Then if the Senate is at stake, then the Supreme Court becomes a crucial issue. [Emphasis added.]
And if they're worried that Trump's dominance of the GOP is going to be a "challenge" to Toomey's continued tenure in the Senate, you know he's gotta be.
So how did Trump do last night?
Donald Trump swept to primary victories Tuesday in Michigan and Mississippi, putting even more pressure on rivals who are trying to stop his drive for the Republican presidential nomination.Pat's gotta be nervous this morning.
Trump also won the Republican caucuses in Hawaii.

From grammar.com:
Writers sometimes confuse the use of the articles a and an. We were all taught that a precedes a word starting with a consonant and that an precedes a word starting with a vowel (a, e, i, o, u, and sometimes y).
Here’s the secret to making the rule work: The rule applies to the sound of the letter beginning the word, not just the letter itself. The way we say the word will determine whether or not we use a or an. If the word begins with a vowel sound, you must use an. If it begins with a consonant sound, you must use a.
So for example, it would be correct to refer to someone being A trumpoidian asshole or A drumpfian asshole or A toomian asshole. It would furthermore be correct to refer to someone being AN heirian asshole or AN omegaish asshole, provided all of those were indeed statements/conclusions we intended to make.
You're welcome. Again.
Hey, Zeus!
However, I believe the word is "Omegian" rather than "Omegaish."
