I rather felt sorry for McCain. It's like he finally realized that he'd gone to far.I wonder if he'll do many more of those "Town Hall" appearances?

Certainly I hope this reins in any nutjobs who might be making plans out there. And actually, *I* (if not *you*) have to give McCain credit, he is trying to do a right thing there.
If his own supporters don't respect him, what does that say about him and his running mate?
