i asked people last night at the place i was at, just curious. 1 person knew, 1 person thought that there was only 2 groups, one of which was the kurds. no one else knew or knew the differences when i gave them hints. to be fair tho, the people that i figured would know were not there last night.

i don't think he quite understands it now, or doesn't care.
Frankly, I don't know if most Americans still know the difference, including, I fear, more than just a few policy makers.
