This is the far end of the celebrations on Pittsburgh's South Side.
The police had already swept the streets a couple of times and weren't letting anyone get closer to thick of the crowd about 5 blocks further down.
Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures, but it was snowing (and obviously pretty dark).

i think the pictures turned out quite well! thanks, there was no way i'd ever be there so this was neat.
I was there. I have never seen the city come together like that... people were hugging, hi-fiving, crying... and then the riot police arrived and told us all to cease and desist. Honestly, no bars were open, so people were just walking up and down Carson Street celebrating the Steelers win, not causing any trouble. It would've been nice to stay a little while longer!!
