Had enough?

From CBS.
A CIA official who had a top role during the run-up to the Iraqi war charges the White House with ignoring intelligence that said there were no weapons of mass destruction or an active nuclear program in Iraq.

The former highest ranking CIA officer in Europe, Tyler Drumheller, also says that while the intelligence community did give the White House some bad intelligence, it also gave the White House good intelligence — which the administration chose to ignore.
But we already knew this, didn't we?

I take it this will be on 60 Minutes this Sunday.
"[The source] told us that there were no active weapons of mass destruction programs," says Drumheller. "The [White House] group that was dealing with preparation for the Iraq war came back and said they were no longer interested. And we said 'Well, what about the intel?' And they said 'Well, this isn't about intel anymore. This is about regime change.' "

They didn't want any additional data from Sabri because, says Drumheller: "The policy was set. The war in Iraq was coming and they were looking for intelligence to fit into the policy."
But we already knew this too, huh?

IMPEACH - what other option is there?

David, again, you've lost it. You're going to take it from CBS News? The organization that falsified typed documents some 60 days before the 2004 Presidential election? Puh-lease.

Anonymous 1 (Braden, is that you?),

What evidence do you have that CBS news falsified those documents?

The last time I checked, the best that could be said of that story was that CBS used a set of documents that no one could be sure were authentic (don't get me wrong - that in itself is an unforgivable sin), but that's a far cry from saying that "CBS falsified typed documents."

Where's your evidence that CBS "falsified" them?

So Anonymous 1, (and if you are Braden, I can completely understand your current wish to be anonymous. It must've been quite difficult for you to be so soundly humiliated on this blog a few weeks ago.) if anyone is going to take you seriously you have to back up your charges with, you know, some facts.

Oh believe me, you've never and you will never humiliate me. If anything, you've done nothing but humiliate yourself which I base on the obvious venom you spew out toward me. I mean, how self righteous can somebody be? I guess you're the prime example. You're so freakin' self righteous, you actually have yourself convinced that you humiliated me a few weeks ago. Sorry, sister. All you did is show the rest of the world how much of an a**hole you are.

Braden,

Can't you find anyone who actually wants to converse with you?

How about reviving the imaginary friend you no doubt had as a child?

Gee Maria, you're such the prime example of that open minded, diverse liberal philosophy that liberals supposedly adhere to...or is that a bunch of horse manure as well?

"open minded, diverse liberal philosophy"

No one even knows what the hell this is supposed to mean when you say this other than you think it means Liberals/Progressives are supposed to, what, agree with everyone?
