I'M THE DECIDER (Koo-Koo-Ka-Choo)

"I hear the voices and I read the front page and I know the speculation," the president told reporters in the Rose Garden. "But I'm the decider and I decide what's best. And what's best is for Don Rumsfeld to remain as the secretary of defense."

"I am me and Rummy's he, Iraq is free and we are all together
See the world run when Dick shoots his gun, see how I lie
I'm Lying...

Sitting on my own brain, waiting for the end of days
Corporation profits, Bloody oil money
I'm above the law and I'll decide what's right or wrong

I am the egg head, I'm the Commander, I'm the Decider

Bushy & The Magical Mystery Tour drop their latest single here.

I do feel kind of bad for putting W's head on Lennon's body though. Sorry, John!

you guys sure come up with childish art which represents your ongoing whining. all of this clearly demonstrates your absolutely laughable, not to mention pathetic mentality(s).

Keep it up...I enjoy watching you making an ass out of yourself Maria.

Hey Maria,

That last Anon must have been Republicans Lie. I think your blog is awesome and my whole family was on the floor laughing over the 'Decider' song on Huff-Po.
You and Dave are my first read in the morning. But I truly must remain Anonymous because members of my family are in the military and I don't trust the powers that be wouldn't send Democrats off to a war zone just to silence the voices of their loved ones.
Draft Republicans....and of course.....IMPEACH

Anonymous, you're a kook.

Wow! Anonymous #2 -- thanks for the nice words! :-)

A kook, or a kook-kook-kajoo? :)

This was absolutely fabulous & yes, John would have given it his stamp of approval.

Anon #1 is a 'Dittohead' and apparently is bitter because of it.
Me, not a kook: I work have kids on the Dean's list at school, work full time, go to church (yes a Democrat in a church - and it doesn't crumble to the ground!) mow my lawn, pay my taxes, and take my 'wifely duties' to my husband very seriously (he's a happy guy if you know what I mean!)
My only issue is that my blood boils at the filthy way the evil pretend christian republicans have destroyed my country!!!
Anon #1, people are getting wise to your kind (33% approval on a FOX poll?) and you better stop putting your head up your ass and become a regular thinking American just like the rest of us. Or, you could spend the rest of your life alone and even your cats won't like you.

Thanks for letting me vent!

Anon #2 -

So you by you having kids on the Deans list makes you better than Republicans? You working full time makes you a better person than Republicans? Damn if you're not materialistic. I bet you brag to everyone as to what kind of car you drive or how expensive your house is, too. Right? In essence, you're nothing more than a self-righteous person who thinks she is better than everyone else and the first paragraph of your comment proves it.

A regular "thinking American" like the rest "of us?" Please, Anon. I'd only be "regular" if I agreed with you and your friends' political views. Since I don't, you label me with profanity laced words. The only thing you are is a sheep, and an ignorant sheep at that. Go back to your comfy couch and listen to CBS news as they feed your little hungry brain more biased rubbish, then you can come back here and spew your hateful venom some more along with the rest of the Marxist crowd who hangs out here.

For someone who goes to Church, you sure have a potty mouth on you, not to mention you demonstrate absolute hatred. You're an even worse hypocrite than I originally thought. Yeah, go to Church all the while you post web URLs pointing to photographs of those you don't agree with just because of your political views. With the way you conduct yourself, you need more than Church, lady. The stench of your hypocrisy would even make Bill Clinton hold his nose with a hankie.

Braden it is you!
I drive a Saturn, live in a rather comfy little house, am in no way materialistic, don't watch CBS news, and the only person I know that I'm better than is you!
As to the potty mouth, you are right. But my husband can attest to the fact that I did not curse before last year's election and I hope that will go away after this year's election.
You on the other hand are a horse's behind and I still think no self respecting cat would like you. Have a nice day with your blow-up doll wife!

Anon --

Denial ain't just another river in Egypt. LOL!

You're so are. I think professional help is needed for you. Consider it, for the sake of all of us?

May God give you the strength to keep what you learn every week in Church. Like I said before, you have a lot of nerve to say that you go to Church when you write back the comment you just did. God damn if you're not one big gigantic hypocrite.

How pathetic is it that I didn't get the reference? I thought it was cute and I suspected it was something very cool. Thank goodness for my music-loving partner. She's embarrassed on my behalf that I have never listened to an entire Beatles album. Not by conscious choice, it just sort of never happened. I think I'm being sent to some sort of deprogramming camp this summer.

Nice job Maria! You rock.

I don't take any claim for writing the lyrics or doing the actual song parody -- only the artwork, but thanks! :-)
