(Via feministing) Karen at Oddity Collector has her own special take on "how male superheroes would look if they were objectified in a similar way to their female counterparts."
Here's one example (but do see them all here):
TURNABOUT IS FAIR PLAY #2:
Looks like men are not exempt from a ticking biological clock (Tony Randall not withstanding). From The Age (also via feministing):
This comfortable state of affairs for men may now be at an end. Last week, writing in the journal Fertility and Sterility, French scientist Elise de La Rochebrochard, who led a recent mass study of French pregnancies, concluded that a father aged over 40 "is a key risk factor for reproduction". For women under 30, a male partner aged 40 or over reduced their chances of conceiving by a quarter; for women between 35 and 37, a partner over 40 reduced conception to a one-in-three possibility. So I wonder when we will start seeing all those articles, talk show segments and scary headlines for men that we've seen for women over the years?
