The movement for single payer health care in Pennsylvania and nationally is diffuse and diverse -- which is what the allies of our broken status quo count on. We're convening this, the sixth Action Conference, to solidify leader-to-leader communication, synch our mutual health care agendas, and coordinate the fight ahead. Leaders and representatives of all groups working on health care reform are welcome.
Proponents of the Governor’s private insurance based “Prescription for Pennsylvania” (HB 700) will debate supporters the public health trust single payer based “Family & Business Health Care Security Act” (SB 300).
Lunch: $7.50 (regular and vegetarian), though you are welcome to bring your own. Refreshments provided.
