chief / chef

While this photo:

may look like one more instance of Luke Ravenstahl aping Bill Peduto's moves,

upon further investigation, it's actually Lil Mayor Luke practicing for a second career once Pittsburghers throw in the towel and give up on giving the kid a chance.

Pittsburgh youth learns a trade.

"Hey! I I didn't f*ck it up!"

Mayoral contender Mark DeSantis, taking no chances, has vowed to keep his distance from chef hats, chainsaws and tricked-out, federally funded SUVs.

Meanwhile, Ravenstahl has already appeared in the Burghosphere in his new chapeau, but we have no idea what the caption means as we thought Luke was a Diet Pepsi guy...

You notice that Luke had to write "Mayor Luke Ravenstahl," on that hat. It's like if he plasters it enough places, he'll actually believe that he's Mayor.

Given that he supported George W. Bush in 2000 and 2004 and that he supported Rick Santorum's re-election campaign in 2006, I cannot share your enthusiasm for Mark DiSantis.

F&B Dave,

I have no real enthusiasm for DeSantis.

That said, I believe that Ravenstahl is so monumentally bad that it is imperative to try to stop him.

They all wrote their names on the hats.

I like the last one. It reminds me of the kid in the pampers pull up commercial.

They didn't all write their titles on their hats, Matt.

Max Talbot didn't write, "3rd Line Center Max Talbot."

Sonni Abatta didn't write "Anchor Sonni Abatta."

That picture is just one more example of Luke as self-absorbed tool.

Chad,

You're not being fair.

If he hadn't have added "mayor" someone might have mistaken him for a busboy.
