LUKE! The Musical

Regarding Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl's recent comments about his joyriding in an SUV that was federally funded with Homeland Security monies:

"But at the end of the day, I'm still going to continue to be who I'm going to be, and go to concerts like I always have, and go to have a drink with my wife in bars. That's what 27-year-olds do and I shouldn't be any different."
I'll see Ms. Mon's Beastie Boys and raise her a Sid Vicious:

Rarely has an elected official thumbed his nose at the electorate quite like Luke. Maybe it's a generational thing or just luke, but he wants it both ways; wants to have fun and "party," and also wants to be in a position of power and make a lot of money.

The truth is, he is blowing-up right in front of us and is corn-holing his career. After being handed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, he is acting like the anti-O'Connor. More like a Hollywood train wreck in the manner of Winona Ryder, who took a stellar career and burned it to the ground.

Of course, when a celeb washes out, they are generally the only ones who are hurt. Not the case here in Pittsburgh. Luke is a monstrous, bipartisan embarrasement to the city. Sophie is starting to look good...

The Democratic Party better get this sniveling twit under control...or risk losing City Hall. It's that bad!

Hard to get someone under control who has no self control and whose first impulse is always wrong.

Wow. That was a treat. I hate/love youtube. That's one of the reasons I love it. Sid Vicious singing "My Way!"

You've raised the bar, girlfriend!

Is it a bad thing to admit that I have this song on a 12" single?

Just a thought,
Was Luke saying that he consumed alcohol and then drove a City vehicle. I wonder what the employee handbooks say regarding consumption of alcohol and the operation of city fleet vehicles.
