McCain: "Make it a hundred" (years for our troops in Iraq)

Is it just me, or do some of the folks in the first row have their mouths open in disbelief while McCain is saying it's just fine and dandy with him if we're in Iraq for the next 100 years?

I think it will soon be a two person race between McCain and Huckabee for the Republican nomination. Romney bet heavily on Iowa and lost. McCain has been surging in the polls in New Hampshire and his strong showing in Iowa will probably result in a win there with Romney coming in second and Huckabee third.

One other thing I expect to see because of McCain's resurgent campaign is that the "Villagers" in the MSM will once again don their knee pads on the "Straight Talk Express" and we'll see a repeat of the slobbering adoration McCain received from the press in 2000.

John K. says: And to think, two years ago when Sen.McCain was criticizing Bush, you left wing kooks loved the guy. LOL LOL

John, you are just as charmingly out of touch with This Planet As It Exists as ever. The only people who ever liked McCain were either Republicans or DINOs. Lefties always saw him as one of you guys. You know -- fools.

Keep up the good work and have a nice weekend. We love you.

Good for John Mccain...he's right, just as he was right about the troop surge working.

The surge has failed utterly, thus: Mr. Bush's stated purpose for the surge (and I'm addressing this to reasonable readers because I know I'm wasting my time reminding blindly-loyal Wingnuts about this) was to give the Iraqis time to get their political act together. They have completely failed to do so. Therefore, the surge has failed. Q.E.D.

Logic is simple and beautiful, is it not?

John K. says: When did conservatives see McCain as a stalwart? Limbaugh trashes him to this day. He was skewered big time in July over the immigration issue. Chris Matthews and Olbermouth adored McCain when he trashed Bush. He was the left wing media darling as long as his straight talk criticized Republicans. And now look at you left wingnuts, LMAO, you hate the guy! LOL LOL Oh how fickle the left wing brain can be. LOL

John K. says: The surge has failed. LMAO LMAO LOL LOL LOL Iraqis are moving back home. No Marine from the 1st MEF was killed in December. Al Queda is crying foul and appealing to the Democrats to bail them out. Murtha says the sruge is working. Olbermouth has completely dropped coverage of Iraq since there is no bad news to report. The surge failed? LOL LOL LOL Whoever posted that is totally loony.

Still laughing while American soldiers die, huh, John?

-- No effective government in Iraq

-- Five American dead this month

-- 89 Iraqis dead this month

-- American death rate up this month over last month

-- Taliban re-taking Afghanistan due to troops diverted to Iraq

If this is success, I'd hate to see what your idea of failure looks like.
