...I mean "downscale" voters...Yes, I know... I'm so elitist... whatever...How she appeals to "downscale" voters is beyond me... sh is anything but... and never has been...

The United States of America--the only country in the world where being educated and cultured actually *lowers* your social and political standing.

Not to suggest anything, but isn't this the same thing you said about Pittsburghers when they voted for Ravingdrunk?

PS: According to the PG, Obama actually won Pittsburgh, 59-41. Yes, even heavily Jewish Squirrel Hill and Mt. Lebanon, where I guess the "Obama is a Muslim" calumny didn't play all that well.

John K. says: Give it up lefties. Operation Chaos and Limbaugh came thru. We kept Sen. Clinton in the race and gave her enough momentum to take her all the way to Denver. Did you see all the money she raked in last night after the victory? Oh yah, Republican crossovers kept her going.

John K. also says: It was so nice watching Olbermouth cry on TV last night as Obama went down in double digits. Well worth voting for Hillary to see that. LOL LOL LMAO. Now this Daiy Kos thing. Limbaugh owns you Democrats.

Joshua,

I'm quite certain that I never called Pittsburghers "white trash" or anything similar to that for voting for Lukey. I was not a blogger who called his supporters "stupid yinzers" or anything like that.

FYI: I grew up in South Western PA saying "yinz." I still like chipped ham. On the other hand, I lived in Manhattan for 15 years and I like sashimi and lattes too.

A friend of mine who also grew up in SW PA and moved to NYC and I were discussing the whole "yinzer" thing in terms of "elitism" a while back and we agreed that it's not about distrusting someone who is smarter or more educated or anything like that. It's about not trusting someone who as a Pittsburgher would say "puts on airs." I am not saying that I think that Obama "lords it over" people, but he does seem to have more of a problem than Hillary connecting with blue collar voters. He doesn't have to have this problem. It's something that he needs to fix, however.

I don't think that some of his more, um, "excessive" supporters help him with that. The whole "join the movement," "you're stupid if you don't support him" vibe they give off is more detrimental than helpful to him.

The headline should read, "How two comments on a daily kos diary, one of which cannot even spell Pittsburgh, think about early election results in Pittsburgh."

Who cares is the bigger question?

She stated that “this would be over” by Feb 5th and she was right.

That’s the day, we all knew that despite being inevitable incumbent with the huge party machine and all of its advantages – she lost.

Everyone agreed that she had to win Texas, Ohio, PA and every other contest big and she failed to do so.

In fact, Obama cut her lead down significantly in those states. Only weeks ago, she had a 20 point lead and she “wins” the state by less than 10.

She can’t catch him in delegates. Nothing changed from a month ago, or weeks before then.

Except Obama’s gain in Superdelegates.

John K. says: You Democrats wasted your time voting. The DNC doesn't care about your vote. Super delegates are going to determine who your nominee is. They get two votes. One in the Primary election and another one to decide who they want the nominee will be. So you voted, big deal. Super delegates, white men in back rooms, smoking cigars will decide that. In secret no less. LOL LOL LOL The party of the people having their nominee determined by fat, white guys in back rooms. LMAO

John K. says: In 2004, Hillary Clinton along with that fake Republican Specter, called for the demise of the Electoral College. That is not electrical college for you Democrats supporting Obama. LOL. Now she is crafting a campaign for the primary based on her ability to win the Presidency by electoral votes. She doesn't even have the majority of popular votes among Democrats. My, my, my how times change when it is your candidate. Operation Chaos rules!

We just believe in math. (Is there a math Kool Aid?)

Is that elitist?

And Obama won Texas, btw!
