Factcheck.org CORRECTS McCain Ad

First the ad. Here's the text:

Announcer: Barack Obama never held a single Senate hearing on Afghanistan. He hadn't been to Iraq in years. He voted against funding our troops. And now, he made time to go to the gym, but canceled a visit with wounded troops. Seems the Pentagon wouldn't allow him to bring cameras. John McCain is always there for our troops.

McCain. Country first. John McCain: I'm John McCain and I approve this message.

Now Factcheck.org:
McCain's facts are literally true, but his insinuation – that the visit was canceled because of the press ban or the desire for gym time – is false. In fact, Obama visited wounded troops earlier – without cameras or press – both in the U.S. and Iraq. And his gym workouts are a daily routine. The Obama campaign canceled the visit with wounded troops at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, Obama says, when he learned that the Pentagon would not allow him to bring along a retired Air Force major general who is serving as a foreign policy adviser to the campaign. Obama says that "triggered then a concern that maybe our visit was going to be perceived as political."
And didn't McCain promise to run a dignified campaign?

Lying about his opponent doesn't seem so "dignified" to me.

Nope, Hussein Obama cancelled the trip because he was afraid of what could happen. Hey, speaking of Hussein Obama, that is a heck of an SUV he drives. I thought we were in dire straights with this global warming? LMAO

McCain got in bed with the devil-- he hired the same pack that swiftboated him in 2000. We can expect more of this.

Instead of falling back on a conservative scapegoat, Nepa, why not convince the oil companies to invest some of their record profits in further developing the land they have leased?

Why is the Republican/conseravtive answer always to give Big Oil a hand up(and corporations for that matter) when their digging their heels into the backs of the middle class?

Oil companies not only spend quite a bit on exploration but they also spend a ton on maintenance. Do you know it costs around 500K per day to run and oil rig. So you tell me what's wrong with some profit. Do you expect them to do this out of the goodness of their hearts ?

Now getting back to the 86 million acres. Did you read the link that I posted ? It's all BS. But if you want to continue repeating DNC talking points be my guest.

Why is it that it's OK for a company to spend billions per year in R&D of their own cash, but it's not OK for them to make profit. Just like those evil drug companies. If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't have half of the miracle drugs we have today. 8 of the top 10 drug companies are American companies. These are the same companies liberals attack daily for not doing the work for free.

What wrong with that picture ???
