Kevin Miller Story Spreading

Short post - today's a busy day.

The Kevin Miller story's made it into the wingut big leagues.

World Net Daily - where the implication is pretty clear: Kevin was reprimanded due to pressure from the Obama campaign. The set-up is pretty clear:

A talk-radio host was reprimanded on air by his executive producer Wednesday after he received complaints about his coverage of Sen. Barack Obama.

KDKA-AM 1020 host Kevin Miller was silenced when executive producer P.J. Kumanchik read a CBS statement accusing Miller of being unfairly biased against Obama.

"We want to apologize to listeners who have found your show offensive," Kumanchik said to Miller on the air.

Then the subtle:
The executive producer of the CBS affiliate said Miller, a Marconi Award nominee and former Army Reserve journalist, had featured guests who were not objective when reporting information about Obama. Miller had recently conducted an Oct. 9 interview with "The Obama Nation" author and WND senior staff reporter Jerome Corsi about his investigation of Obama's connections to opposition leader Raila Odinga in Kenya. He called Corsi "a true patriot" upon his return from detention by Kenyan immigration authorities.

In the interview with Corsi, Miller revealed his personal concerns about efforts to silence Obama critics.

"Well Dr. Corsi, what scares me is, we've seen this from the Obama campaign, that they clearly target people such as yourself, talk radio stations – whether it's WGN or others or people like myself – that speak out," he said. "And if [Obama is] elected, we're going to have a different chorus when it comes to discourse in this country."

Ah, there it is. What World Net Daily wants you to think is that Kevin Miller was reprimanded because he was speaking out about Senator Obama.

Whether it was a stunt now is beside the point.

And I'll ask it again, if it WAS a stunt what did Miller accomplish? Now large swaths of the wingnut right think that KDKA is looking to "silence" Kevin Miller because of his political beliefs.

My guess (and this is only a guess) is that we should be seeing Mr Miller on Hannity and Colmes sometime real soon.

John K: LOL LOL Give them enough time and any left wing kook will prove themselves to be liars. Two points proven here, as previously blogged on this site by lefties: 1: K. Miller was not in the military, hence not qualified to talk about Iraq. But he was, exactly how he said he was. He does have military service. 2: J. Corsi was detained in Kenya by friends of Hussein Obama. That claim was also called a lie on this blog. LMAO LMAO If left wing kooks had brains they would be voting for McCain.

John K: Corsi was in Kenya to try and obtain the real birth certificate of Hussein Obama from the hospital in Mombassa, Kenya. Fact is Hussein Obama gave money to Odinga to help him campaign for the Presidency of Kenya. Odinga repaid the favor by having Corsi detained and deported. Quinn did a full story on this. But it's like Hussein Obama said during the last debate, if only FOX news (and other conservative outlets) were not on the air, his poll numbers would be higher. Truth is hard to handle, eh left wing kooks. LOL LOL LMAO Yah know, you left wing kooks found everything about Joe the Plumber within 24 hours but still after two years we do not know all there is to know about Hussein Obama. Gee, I wonder why?

I listened to Kevin Miller for about ten minutes last week and got so annoyed that my BP went through the roof and I had to turn it off.

This wasn't because I didn't agree with his agenda, but because, like most right wing jerks, he was speaking in a logorrhea of non-sequitors and none of his ditto head listeners would even dare call him on them.

What cracks me up about guys like "our own little dimwit" JK, is that they actually think these guys care about them and their agenda; they don't. Quinn, Hons and Miller are just doing a job that pays them a lot of money. Quinn, in particular, was a former rock DJ who simply saw the writing on the wall and reinvented himself as a neocon nutball. It resurrected his career, which would most assuredly be over if he was still trying to intro records by ABBA.

As to this stunt by KD? Pretty sad, isn't it, that this is the level to which "America's first radio station" has sunk to? Really quite pathetic....and basically another reason to hate deregulation; as it was Ronnie Reagan who worked hard to strip them away from broadcasting years ago....

There is no reason to let diehard wingnuts get you down. First, they are hurtling toward irrelevance because their ideology has been discredited and rejected. Second, you can do something to improve your country and promote the change we so greatly need. Call Sen. Obama's campaign office and volunteer.

The greater the Democratic victories this November, the less we will need to worry about problems caused and aggravated by right-wing extremists.

Volunteer today. Everyone can do something. Devote a few hours to the get-out-the-vote program. Offer to drive or distribute literature or handle a telephone station on election day. Send a few bucks. You will feel better and your country will improve.

The paranoia of the wingnuts!

Doesn't it always sound like there's a vast, left-wing, conspiracy, out to frustrate their every move? Hell, it's even an "international" conspiracy!

Keep your back to the wall, there, johnk!

Happy Wedding Day!

Yes, happy wedding day, David. Don't let your wife catching you on the computer today.

John K, I looked in the transcript of the debate for a mention of "Fox", "Conservative" or "talk radio" and found nothing like what you are saying. Obama only said that Fox News had backed him up (on something, I didn't bother to read what), which didn't happen very often. You really embarrass anyone who might have a conservative opinion by being so obnoxious. As for Jerome Corsi, it sounds like he got exactly what he deserved. I am not surprised the Kenyans did not want to be any part of an incident that might affect the (potentially) next President of the United States. Massive stupidity on his part, and as far as I am concerned, if he really was looking for a birth certificate that doesn't exist, and carrying some amount of money to give to Barack Obama's half brother, he should rot in jail.

And by the way, Barack Obama was given his middle name 47 years ago, well before anyone had ever heard of Saddam Hussein. I'm just sayin'

Well, if Quinn talked about it...then it must true if it's coming from Mr. "Black Helicopters and Secret Chinese Army waiting to take over the US."

I remember when Mr. Quinn got his show in the mid-90's and he quickly proved that he belonged to the delusional fringe right by embracing the most ridiculous conspiracies going around at that time(like the two mentioned above).

Considering Jerome Corsi writes for World Net Daily, I'm not surprised that paper has picked up this story. Corsi and WND are complete trash, not worth acknowledging by responding to their crackpot theories.

That one of our resident wingers embraces these crackpots is no surprise considering it seems there's not much room on the right for anyone BUT crackpots.

These people are completely unhinged. They're now embracing the most desperate, debased political smears I've ever witnessed and not one of them has the courage to really express why they hate Obama - they won't show their true colors, instead hiding it behind these solipsistic questions("Who's the real Obama?) and absurd insinuations about Obama's past.

If you have the time, look for the video of Rep. Michele Bachmann's appearance on Hardball last night. You'll see Republicans for what they really are - unhinged, derganged conspiracists.

What a shock - as I was perusing some other blogs I came across a perfect example, a fresh example, of the Right's descent into madness:

McCain/Palin supporter proudly displays lack of a mind

From a McCain/Palin rally in Minnesota, featuring Norm Coleman and Todd Palin, a supporter holding up a sign comparing Barack Obama to...wait for it...Charles Manson?!?

And why? Because they were both community organizers, so the smear's a two-for-one. The cognitive disconnect required for a person to make this kind of statement is through the roof - we're simply not dealing with functioning people; these people, like John K., are seriously psychologically damaged.

All of the stuff their bringing up about Barack says a whole lot more about who John K. is than Barack.

It's sad that I have to do this, but just to clarify for our winger crackpots, Charles Manson WAS NOT a community organizer.

So, who's next on the rightwing Hit Parade?

John K. said...

John K: Two points. The first one missed totally by the left wingers in here because of their bias is I do not support Miller. I do not listen to him unles Limbaugh has a guest host on. So if he got fired what to do I care. 2nd--If none of these right wing talk shows have any relevance, then why is the left so eager to reenact the fairness doctrine. LMAO Lefties open mouth, insert foot, gag repeatdly waiting for big govt to tell them what to do next.

John K. said...

John K: Oh but he did say it Ed Heath, he did. Limbaugh, FOX, Quinn and a few others played it. LOL LOL LOL LMAO Ed, do you think Olbermouth or Maddow would play it? LOL LOL I can't beleive Heath even posts in here based on the number of times he has failed to even be close to right. Get on your bike Ed and lobby for some more federal money. LOL LOL

John K. said...

John K: And Jerome Corsi was detained for the exact reason specified by me by Odinga, friend and confident of Hussein Obama. Yet the left is so interested in destroying Joe the Plumber that they can't spend time on this story. Hmmm. By the way Jaywillie, it is Joe the Plumber. That is his middle name and he prefers that to Sam. LOL LOL LOL LMAO See how it is easy it is. In one blog I destroyed the credibility of Jaywillie.

In other words, John K., I was right, it was something you heard on Limbaugh (and Quinn and others). Since I don’t listen to these people, I still don’t know exactly what he was supposed to have said (and no, I still do not listen to every frickin’ thing Obama says). Since I could only find one reference to “Fox” in the debate transcript, and it was nothing to do with what you said, I can only assume that Limbaugh, Quinn et al are taking something Obama said somewhere else and mis-representing it. Since y’all did that with this birth certificate bit, y’all are clearly capable of any shameless act of deception, to keep the Republicans in power and keep raping the American public.

John K. said...

John K: Ed Heath since you only listen to points of views that support yours why would I ever expect that you heard both sides. Duhhhhh. Heath, you really have to open your eyes. Olbermouth distorts the facts and never prints anything that disagrees with his opinion. Which is why lefties are so kooky. LMAO LMAO

EdHeath said...

Again, not a response. BTW, I don't listen to Olbermann either. I do read the NYTimes (online), the Atlantic from time to time, and I watch Washington Week, sometimes the Daily Show and sometimes the Sunday News shows. FWIW.

The fact the you apparently listen to Limbaugh and Quinn *and* watch Olbermann tells me that you are getting your *news* from extreme points of view. Which helps explain your constant rude behavior.
