Democracy Has Prevailed.

Props To Jerry Bowyer!

His rhetoric's landed him on MediaMatters again!

Take a look:
Forbes contributor Jerry Bowyer relied on shoddy logic and baseless assertions to attempt to debunk the well-supported claim that marriage equality has a variety of economic benefits.

In his July 4 blog post - touted by the National Organization for Marriage (NOM) - Bowyer claimed that the Supreme Court's recent marriage equality decisions would hurt businesses by adding to "paperwork" for same-sex couples.
It's a silly argument Jerry's making but I'll let this commenter sum things up:
Yeah, because excess paperwork is always an awesome reason to deny people their civil rights.
Awesome.

unless you are arguing against legalizing polygamy which we can't have because it will complicate estates and the division of assets.

Not sure what you're trying to prove with that statement, but as far as I'm concerned, I have no issue with polygamy being legalized.

My take on it is that we need to downsize government and reduce regulations. So there is less paperwork for all.

Not hinder gay marriage if people so desire.

This problem is greatly reduced if the death tax is completely, 100% eliminated, forever.

There is no death tax. There is an estate tax, where people who inheiret considerable wealth pay a one time tax on their newly gained assets.
