It's only from a few days ago but it was the story on how some climate truthiness from Breitbart made it all the way to the United States House Committee on Science, Space and Technology.
As climate science, it was completely wrong and frighteningly indicative of what we can expect from President small-hands pussy grabber (and his enablers in the GOP) for the next four years.
Luckily, Kait Parker of Weather.com spoke up:
A couple of takeaways:
- Science doesn't care about your opinion about the fact that the planet is warming
- Breitbart claimed that land temps plummeted when actually land and ocean temps have gone up
- Breitbart cherry picked its data to support its truthiness
Or as Neil deGrasse Tyson said:
The good thing about science is that it's true whether or not you believe in it.Let's make the facts louder than the opinions.
