Ok So Before Someone Brings It Up, Let's Deal With It

It's 1 degree outside right now (that's Fahrenheit, remember. it's -17 degrees Celsius).

That's very very cold.

But let's remember: Weather does not equal climate:
The difference between weather and climate is a measure of time. Weather is what conditions of the atmosphere are over a short period of time, and climate is how the atmosphere "behaves" over relatively long periods of time.
So when Senator Inhofe (and other science deniers) think that evidence of a snowball in Washington DC (or a few days of single digit temperatures here in Pittsburgh) are enough to discount the settled science, let's remember what Stephen Colbert said:
The science is true even if you don't believe it.

Global does not have to exist for there to be Climate Change. Hotter hots and colder colds can create catastrophic Environmental conditions such as more wind and faster wind. Wind change may be enough to destabilize the world's environment.
