68,279 Deaths - NO ONE Who Agrees With Trump Can Ever Claim To Be "Pro-Life"

From ABC:
President Donald Trump said in an exclusive interview with ABC "World News Tonight" Anchor and Managing Editor David Muir on Tuesday that "it's possible there will be some" deaths as states roll back restrictions aimed at stopping the spread of the novel coronavirus, acknowledging that it was the choice the country faces to reopen and jumpstart the economy.
And:
In addition to the president's acknowledgement directly to Muir that it's "possible there will be some" deaths as a cost of reopening the country, the president also acknowledged during his visit to Arizona that there will be some who are "affected badly" by the decision.

“Will some people be affected? Yes. Will some people be affected badly? Yes. But we have to get our country open and we have to get it open soon,” Trump said, directly acknowledging there will be a real, negative human cost in prioritizing an economic revival over a more cautious approach in favor of public health. But even as the president advocates for a return to normal economic business, the nation's governors remain in control of decision-making for their respective states.[Emphasis added.]
Never again can the Republican Party claim to be the "Pro-life" party. Never again can anyone who supports this administration claim to be "pro-life." Here he is - right there, prioritizing economic revival over real human lives.

So Dayvoe you still stand behind the infalable DOJ processes of FISA?

Trump incompetent delayed response caused widespread out of control COVID-19 infections among the US population killing millions
Reopening the economy will cause widespread out of control COVID-19 infections among the US population killing millions

"Pro-life" is a misnomer. The phrase is little more than crafty loaded language. Stop that fallacy and call it what it is anytime you get the chance: anti-abortion.

Changing that narrative in that way makes debunking the attached BS easier. The phrase should be stripped of its misconceptions anytime it is uttered.

I'll take your deal if we call Pro-choice Pro-Abortion.

Looking forward to the mask falling in the US and the courts ruling that home confinement/arrest with no due process is prefectly legal and constitutional.

In fairness, I'm not a woman, so I don't really have grounds to assert any of this with any authority. But, I am okay with "pro-abortion." "Liberty" might be more appropriate.

I should have been more consistent with my use of quotation marks.

I'll fix it now.

Anyway, it's kind of my point. While they can assert they are "anti-abortion" regardless of their stand on reopening the economy, they CAN'T call themselves "pro-life" as their position is: more dead are OK as long as the economy recovers sooner.

The point would be lost of I were to use the term "anti-abortion" instead.

Progressives
You are not "pro-life" if you do not support Government single player Healthcare.
"Liberty" means the Government can confined you to your home indefinitely.
Indefinite lockdowns and economic destruction are necessary because “if it saves one life?”

The point behind shuttering the country was to "flatten the curve" so that the healthcare system wasn't overrun. Who knows whether we all would have gotten it or not. But that's not the point. That effort was blown out of the water when POTUS invoked the DPA forcing the meat processing plants to work in harmony with the relaxed safety restrictions imposed on the plants one week prior by the CDC/OSHA. #notfakenews

Regardless of anyone's precautionary steps now, Covid-19 will eventually reach all of us. Flattening the curve is now futile. Even if you eat nothing but backyard dirt from now till death, someone you know and run into will have been exposed to it at the supermarket counter and will transmit to you. Or to someone else that you run into. We all eat.

Back to the "pro-life" sentiment. Yes, flattening the curve saves lives and it sure seems that there's no reason the country can't be de-shuttered more safely. But if everyone gets infected proportionately, then the virus indiscriminately affects voters across party lines. I question whether POTUS is smart enough to figure that out, but have no doubt that the people behind him are.

You, Dayvoe and the Democrats have predicted Covid-19 will eventually reach all of us so there will be millions of deaths from Covid-19.

So there will be 4+ millions US deaths in 2020?
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/deaths.htm

Trump will lose in 2020 because of Trump incompetent delayed response and reopening the economy caused widespread out of control COVID-19 infections among the US population killing millions.

Of course if those predictions turn out to be wrong, you will still not admit to being wrong and credit the blue states for staying shut down as long as they could.

I was thinking about incorrect predictions in church this past easter: “When you have 15 [coronavirus cases], and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that’s a pretty good job we’ve done,” Trump said.

I have to agree with you: Trump will lose in 2020.
