Wendy Bell Misleads (Lies) On Covid. Again. With VAERS Numbers. AGAIN.

 Her BS Board from yesterday:

Oh, Wendy! The VAERS numbers again?

How often do we need to do this?

American Faith [dot] com is not a reliable source of information. The numbers you cite on your BS board are the numbers American Faith gathers from the National Vaccine Information Center which is, of course, a source of vaccine misinformation.

From Newsweek (last May):

With the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines, the CDC has provided additional analysis of VAERS reports on its main website, stating, "A review of available clinical information, including death certificates, autopsy, and medical records has not established a causal link to COVID-19 vaccines."

However, alternative platforms exist where anyone can access VAERS data and bypass the CDC's clear explanation of its many limitations. One, MedAlerts.org, is run by an anti-vaccine group called the National Vaccine Information Center, whose own website NewsGuard found to have repeatedly published false health claims. [Emphasis added.]

The part you always leave out is the VAERS disclaimer

VAERS accepts reports of adverse events and reactions that occur following vaccination. Healthcare providers, vaccine manufacturers, and the public can submit reports to the system. While very important in monitoring vaccine safety, VAERS reports alone cannot be used to determine if a vaccine caused or contributed to an adverse event or illness. The reports may contain information that is incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental, or unverifiable. In large part, reports to VAERS are voluntary, which means they are subject to biases. This creates specific limitations on how the data can be used scientifically. Data from VAERS reports should always be interpreted with these limitations in mind.

And that was just the first paragraph.

Among one of its bullet points is this:

The number of reports alone cannot be interpreted or used to reach conclusions about the existence, severity, frequency, or rates of problems associated with vaccines.

It is inconceivable for you to not know this, Wendy as I know you read this blog.

(You've even invited me on your radio show while blocking me from commenting on your FB page.)

So you must know about the VAERS disclaimer - but you never let that truth affect your misinformation narrative.

Let me answer the question you posted at the at the top of your BS board:

WILL SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS?

You're lying with these numbers.
