Blood in the Water

Even if you've never actually bought a copy of the National Enquirer (or the Star or Weekly World News, etc.) just glancing at the covers in the checkout line will tell you that these tabloids are more-inclined towards flag-waving and Clinton-bashing than the story featured on the cover here:

This is the tipping point. Forget Gallup, Zogby and all the rest. This is the real deal in where Bush stands with the public.

He can't have another bullhorn moment now if he tries. He's just one more fallen celebrity tucked in the pages between Marie Osmond's bad eye lift and Batboy.

Game Over.

Interesting, but I've found your blog interesting since day one. What is your take on the 'Fair Tax' bill now in Congress? I personally think it's the best thing that could happen but will it get past the power boys? If you want to read the bill it's HR 35 (and one of the shorter bills I've ever read).

Hmmm..not finding ti. Is it maybe HR 25, not 35?
