"Please come to the public hearing in Pittsburgh on Thursday, April 10th and tell Pennsylvania Senate Members to vote NO on Senate Bill 1250. Senate Bill 1250 is a Constitutional Amendment which would ban gay marriage AND civil unions in Pennsylvania. On Thursday, April 10th there will be a public hearing in Pittsburgh to discuss the impact this amendment would have on the Commonwealth. In past hearings, supporters of this discriminatory bill have been extremely active and vocal. It is crucial that we outnumber them this time around. We urgently need people to come to the hearing so senators know that people from the Pittsburgh area don't want our General Assembly to legislate hate." Call (412) 681-7736 for more information.

I find that the Women & Girls' Foundation is completely sexist.
We are ALL equal under the law and females hold the majority. There is no need for public subsidy of either specific gender.

BTW there is no crying in baseball!

If you fell so strongly about your opinion why not sign your name to it?

Anon.,

I agree with you - we are equal under the law.

Nationally women make 80 cents for every $1 a man makes.

Here in SW PA women make even less, only 69 cents for every $1 a man makes.

That is not equal. Calling for equal pay for equal work is not asking for "public subsidy".

I'd love to see a woman become president, but Hillary scares me with her socialist agenda. The universal healthcare plan fits perfectly with the millions of dollars she has received from the medical companies who will benefit from her mandatory healthcare laws. Name one issue on her voting record that you like.... If you can honestly find one, then I'd love to hear about it. She has continued to vote for the war, Patriot Act, and trade agreements that forfeit our rights as Americans to foreign entities. Please research these candidates before blindly following them into the darkness. Oh, and one last thing....

Go Ron Paul 2008!
