Happy Thanksgiving, Sherry!Got to get the candied yams and fruit tart going. My contributions to the day's feast.I'll be cooking my own turkey tomorrow.When I lived in NYC, I rarely went home for Thanksgiving (too close to Christmas) and often made turkey dinner for my friends. I still like cooking a bird once a year. Plus, I prefer my own stuffing recipe!
always make the pies. no one bakes anymore but me. this year, thankfully, we are having the dinner at my sister's house.i used to bake all of the xmas cookies, too but last year i gave up and bought a big tray at oakmont bakery(the best!) i'll be doing that again this year.
