trying not to engage in schadenfreude while still getting the irony

On the news that Ann Coulter's jaw has been wired shut.

I'd prefer that she not be heard from because nobody gave a shit what she had to say.

(h/t to Shakesville for the link to the above post.)

How, exactly, was her jaw broken? Did someone finally give her the well deserved ass whipping?

She fell down some stairs and broke her jaw which I'm assuming involves some large amount of pain. I know she's said many ugly, disgusting, hurtful -- hell, even dangerous -- things, but I get no pleasure from someone's physical pain -- even hers.

Will Ann pull a Randi Rhodes and claim she was pushed?

John K: Ann Coulter makes liberals angry, to my delite, by writing books exposing their hypocracy. Wiring her jaw shut is temporary. Her book writing is what makes her. Ann Coulter Rules!

Conservatives have a hard enough time avoiding looking dumb these days without your contributions to the cause, John.

Tomorrow is a big shopping day. Get yourself a dictionary and start using it.

John K: Now that Hussein Obama has been elected, all the nazis are coming out of the wordwork. Even Infino.

Well, well, well, Maria..

Your comment is very enlightening in that YOU posted this. If you were to be believed, then you would (a) have not posed it is the 1st place or (b) immediately pull this post.

If expecting correct spelling of junior high-level words in an ostensibly adult conversation strikes you as the mark of a "Nazi," John . . . your understanding of the term "Nazi" resembles your command of standard English.

It is natural and reasonable to think less of opinions expressed by those unable to spell common words. Is there any special circumstance that should cause us to issue a pass for your failure to spell properly, one that would incline educated adults to take your opinions seriously?

John K: Oops Infinon...perhaps I should have used the term Stalinist. After all, during the last depression the left thought Stalin had all the correct ideas. Check back issues of the Nation magazine. LMAO LMAO I nailed you infinon. LOL LOL

Are you now contending that what appeared to be a common case of inability to spell properly was instead a deft and knowing stab against the mindless orthodoxy of standard English?

Or are you merely again tossing out whatever tainted historical name or concept comes readily to your mind, perhaps hoping the issue becomes as hazy for others as it seems to be for you?

Ideas are debatable, John. Spelling is not. Stalin is an inapt reference. You are a dope.

It would be better to admit your mistake, learn from it and attempt to improve than to continue to flaunt that dunce cap as if it were that of an admiral.
