Here on the pulse of this new dayYou may have the grace to look up and outAnd into your sister's eyes, intoYour brother's face, your countryAnd say simplyVery simplyWith hopeGood morning.
I asked david to change the time on this post so my (late) Bush post wouldn't be on top right now. Can't have Bush on top today!!
i can't help but sing a little "nah nah nah nah hey hey hey, goodbye!" ; )
geeezzz there must have been a mind meld... hey hey hey...
Well, that's done. Now we have to get to work on knocking Opie out of office.
I'm going to come clean. I couldn't even watch the Inauguration with other people at work, 'cause I was afraid I was going to tear up. And I did. I'm not exactly sure what the emotion was? Is that what joy is? Is that what hope feels like? As we get older and our emotions are somewhat tempered, it's often hard to know. But I know it felt exhilarating! And I know this. I would rather have this man in this place at this time than anyone else I can imagine. For a moment, just think; what if John McCain had won?But I digress...Like a losing team that finally wins a game I feel like saying: OK, that's one! Now let's build on it!Clyde
The benefits of working from home today: I could have a little cry.
