My EIGHTY-SECOND Open Letter To Senator Pat Toomey (UPDATE)

I'll be dropping this letter to Senator Pat Toomey in the mail today:
Dear Senator Toomey:

It's me, again - the constituent who writes for the local Pittsburgh-based political blog, "2 Political Junkies."

You voted to elevate Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. I am guessing you're already getting a great deal of critical (and necessary, given the severity of the issue) feedback about the sexual assaults alleged to have occurred in his past, so let me ask you about of his perjury instead.

In voting for Kavanaugh, can the voters of Pennsylvania assume you're completely OK perjury if it fits the GOP agenda - specifically, with the fact that Kavanaugh lied to Congress regarding the memos Manny Miranda stole from some Democratic Senators back in 2003?

Perjury is a very serious crime, Senator. Sitting presidents have been impeached for perjury, as I am sure you know.

So, all politics aside, where are your principles in supporting a man who lied to the Congress in order to sit on the Supreme Court?

Thank you and I await your response.
And I will be posting whatever response I get from him or his office.

This letter has been answered here

It requires being really pedantic to get perjury from Brett Kavanaugh testimony.
I trust you felt the same way when Sotomayor blatantly lied by completely revising the context of the controversial "Wise Latina" remark. to excuse it? https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2009/07/sotomayors-nose-grows-longer.php … Or are you going to dismiss and handwave that as gotcha and whataboutism.

Hopefully Christine Blasey Ford will use her new found national platform to lobby for other victim of rape including credibly accused Duke Lacrosse/UVA Frat gang rapists who have been protected by toxic, bad, insulting and hurtful narrative advanced by GOP misogynist rape apologists.

There were plenty of equally qualified candidates but the decision to push through a more divisive one was the path chosen.

And (cue the Heir), if the dems have done so many egregious things in the past that it gives the GOPers license to reciprocate, why shouldn't GOPers seize the opportunity to take the higher road and aim for more harmony than discord?

Democrats support banning Dark Money SuperPacs.
why shouldn't Democrats seize the opportunity to take the higher road by not having any Dark Money SuperPacs like American Bridge 21st Century?

I don't see how Dark Money SuperPacs have much to do with the Kavanaugh nomination and this particular post.

Democrats will not give Dark Money SuperPacs unless they can force Republicans to do the same thing to not give them a advantage.
If you kill terrorists, they win.

Cuck Logic.
If you give up on Brett Kavanaugh, the Democrats lose.
Despite giving the Democratic base a morale boost and victory and demoralizing the Republican Base. BlueWave
